My liege, I see you are interested in sending out an expedition team. This will cost us both time and money. There are also restrictions on exploring when our lands are not built up.
As you well know, building infrastructure is absolutely vital to the long term growth of our province. We have a variety of options available, and the final decision is up to you.
More can be learned about benefits of each building from the guide and advisor links above.

Ahh, the Arts & Sciences are the heart and soul of our people and our lands. Mastering these fields is vital to making our people stronger, smarter, and more efficient. This allows us to grow in strength without growing in size. More details outlining the sciences can be found in the Guide Link above.
There are several methods of learning the arts & sciences. The primary method is simply to spend money on research. Additionally, schools generate science for us, and we may learn science from others by raiding our enemies through the Learn Attack. From here, you may allocate your science points developed through schools and purchase additional science.
Your lands require a military presence to both defend your province and conquer your enemies.
The key to survival and success in Utopia is a strong and sustainable military, so train your troops wisely.
There are many options available on this menu, and you can learn more about each from the Guide above.
Your Military Advisor can also provide valuable information on the current status of your military.
You enter the Mystic Circle, the secret locale from which your wizards cast their spells.
From here, you may issue orders to your magical minions to do anything within their power.
Wizards have an amazing array of spells at their disposal, but can only cast so many at any time.
Runes will be needed for your wizards to effectively do their magic.

You descend into an underground area of your castle and enter the Guild of Thieves.
An organization created under your leadership, the Guild trains the lowest classes of people to learn the tools of the trade.
Trained by your Military, your thieves stand ready at your service.
You enter your War Room. Surrounded by your most highly ranked military
commanders, you stand ready to give orders to your troops. However, like
most military commanders, none are willing to offer their advice.
The decisions you make must be your own.

Alas, Sir You the Sorceror, some of our friends may be in need of supplies to help keep their provinces alive.
Because of rules set forth by the Utopian Lords, we are only allowed to send food, money, runes and soldiers.
If you wish, just give the command, and I will send the aid.
Remember, though, we can only send aid to others on our own kingdom.
Also, the Utopian Lords may levy a tax of shipments to provinces facing a Trade Deficit.
For future reference, our estimated tax rate on incoming goods is 0.0%.

Every kingdom has set aside a small area for its leaders to meet and discuss any and all issues facing the growth of the area.
Participating will be a vital part of your duties as a kingdom nation, as the long term vitality of your lands will be tied to the ability to coordinate and work with your good neighbors.
As would any reputable leader, you must remain courteous and honorable, or you may face the prospect of the Utopian Lords stripping you of your province.
Some kingdoms may also make use of outside communications sources such as instant messengers or other message boards to coordinate their game activities.
We cannot guarantee the security of these methods of communications - it is up to you as to whether you feel comfortable using those methods.

A strongly united kingdom is vital to your long-term success here on Utopia.
Deciding on -- and listening to -- your King or Queen is an important first step, and your vote is important.
Remember that a good King or Queen is not necessarily the best or most active player in your kingdom.
it is the one with the best diplomatic ability and the one most willing to put the kingdom's goals ahead or his or her own.
Take advantage of the Public Forum to discuss the vital issues of your Kingdom's future with your fellow provinces and vote for a King or Queen to lead your kingdom to glory.

Alas, the once proud province of AnInactive (0:0) has collapsed and lies in ruins.
Our kingdom has begun the development of a Gold Dragon to be sent to Kingdom (0:0).
As gold will be required to fund the growth of the dragon, the Monarch asks for the assistance of you and your fellow provinces.
1,000,000gc is still needed to complete development.
Ruby: Reduces military effectiveness by 8% Emerald: 10% Higher military losses in combat and 10% lower attack gains Sapphire: 20% Lower magic & thievery effectiveness Gold: Reduce building efficiency by 20%
In addition, all dragons result in 10% lower income and the loss of 20% of new draftees.
The only way to kill a dragon is to attack it with soldiers and specialists.
Unfortunately, fighting a dragon is suicidal, and no troop sent to fight the dragon will return.
Every soldier sent will destroy 1 point of strength. Every Specialist will destroy 5 points.

As you explore and learn about the world of Utopia, you're bound to come across some things you can't figure out.
There are a number of resources available to help players who have questions, including your own Kingdom Forum and the General
Utopia Message Boards.
Listed below, are some of the more commonly asked questions with our advice and suggestions to help you get through the game.
Someone gave me a strategy. Should I use it?
Oftentimes, your kingdom members will be eager to help you get started and will
offer you a complete set of instructions on how to play. While their intentions
are good, we believe this will not help you learn the game in the long run.
Instead of simply following someone else's way of playing, we highly recommend you go
with what feels and seems right to you. Take your teammate's advice, but be sure
you understand why you're making the choices you make or you will not understand
the game as well. Read the Guide to Utopia
to better understand the game, and ask your kingdommates for ideas as you go along.
Over time, you'll learn what works and what does not, and you will have a far
better understanding of the game than you would have otherwise. We also feel
that your experience will be far more enjoyable this way.
My people are starving! What can I do?
There's one basic way to produce food in Utopia: Farms. If you find yourself
consistently short on food, you probably need to produce more farms. Various
spells and thievery operations can also affect both your food supply and food production
levels, as can your people's effiency working your buildings.
In the short term, you also might want to request aid from your kingdommates
through the kingdom forum. In general, these players are your teammates and
will be more than happy to help -- as long as you do your share and work towards
your kingdom's success, rather than just your own.
How often should I login to Utopia?
Utopia works in a real-time world, so the more often you log in, the more active
role you will take in your province. However, the game is designed for users who
can log in once a day. We highly recommend you login at least this often. Because
our servers can get excessively busy at times, we also give bonuses for only logging
in about once per day.
I seem to always have a weakness. Why?
Utopia is designed so that a province can't be good in everything -- attacks,
magic, thievery, science, etc. It's up to you to find the right balance for
how you want to play, but don't worry that you're not good in every area. Because
this is a kingdom game, its up to you to work with your kingdom to help cover
up each other's weaknesses and compete well together as a team.
I keep getting attacked. Why?
Being attacked is a part of the game - most players attack, so most players
will be attacked. To reduce how often you're attacked, its important to look
at your province and see what is making you an attractive target. If you have
relatively little defense compared to other provinces your size, people will
tend to target you. If your kingdom is at war or hostile with other kingdoms,
those kingdoms may also target you and others in your kingdom more.

, I am in charge of the development of infrastructure within your province.
I offer to you information on our buildings, their efficiency, and a list of when our current projects will be completed.
Building Effectiveness - The structures we construct throughout our lands may or may not function at full capacity, depending on two major factors.
First, people must work in the buildings to realize their full utility. Second, money invested in tools sciences can raise efficiency as well.
We currently have 0 unfilled jobs, and our buildings are functioning at 100.0% efficiency.
Note that changes in both employment and investment require time to shift your building efficiency.
Listed below are the net effects of each of our buildings, not including personality or racial bonuses.
You will find that as we build more of certain building types, the new structures will be less effective.
The Next 1% refers to the benefits of dedicating 1% more of your land to a particular building type.

Military Effectiveness - Our military effectiveness is determined by the size and wage rates of our armed forces.
Higher wages can drive up productivity. On the other hand, a larger military may result in lower quality recruits.
At this time, approximately 9.5% of our maximum population is allocated to non-peasant roles.
Our wage rate is 100% of normal levels. Our military is functioning at 100.0% efficiency.
Note that this effectiveness is determined by historical wage rates and force size.
Any changes to our military structure will take time to change our efficiency.
In addition, our military strength is affected by a number of other factors including science, buildings, honor, spells, and more.
Our net military effectiveness is as follows:
Offensive Military Effectiveness: 100.0%
Defensive Military Effectiveness: 100.0%
Net Offensive Points at Home: 300
Net Defensive Points at Home: 300
